Day 1: Transfer to Bukavu- Democratic Republic Congo.
You will be picked up from Kigali Hotel/Lodge by our safari guide, gets you briefed about the tour and after, he will drive you towards the southwestern part of Rwanda passing through the rolling hills and gorgeous scenery to Changugu Rwanda- Congo border. However, before arriving at the border, you will first visit the genocide site in Butare and also visit the National Museum of Rwanda here, visit also the King’s palace if time allows. After lunch, continue with your drive to Bukavu with a beautiful view all through with a clear view of Lake Kivu Rwanda’s freshest water body and the sixth largest lake in Africa. Day 3: Lowland Gorilla tracking in Kahuzi Biega
After an early breakfast, the guide will drive you to the briefing headquarters to receive information about the low- land gorilla tracking and also gets you allocated to the ranger guide and the gorilla family. After, the ranger guide will lead you to deep into the forest to begin the search of these huge giants, they are bigger in size than its counterparts the mountain gorillas and the ever reordered bigger silver back was from the low land gorilla sub species. Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali city tour and departure
