Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This tour will begin from Entebbe with a flight from Entebbe International Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwind impenetrable national park is known as a home to the endangered mountain gorillas and it’s known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Upon your arrival at Kihihi, you will be welcome and greeted by our company safari guide who will drive you direct to the lodge. In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a nature walk and meet the local communities that live a few meters from to the park. Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
Wake-up for an early breakfast at the lodge after, follow the guide to the park headquarters to receive short briefings from the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. After the briefing, you will follow the park ranger who will lead you deep into the impenetrable forest to start the search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas who only live to this park and Mgahinga forest in Uganda.
The search for the gorillas is unpredictable meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from or from where they were last seen the previous day. The search may involve passing through muddy and thick forest and upon reaching them, you will only be allowed to stay with them for only one hour and you are advised to always keep maximum silence while with these Gorillas since they are wild animals they can react on you. You are allowed to take photographs as well as studding their behaviors, you are not allowed to use flash cameras when taking photos. Gorilla trekking is regarded as such a tiresome experience since it can take you almost 2-8 hours to find them. However, once these apes are meet, you will easily forget all the hustles you have gone through and instead save the good memories you will experience with them. Day 3: Fly Back to Kampala
On this last day after breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Kihihi airstrip and fly back to Entebbe.
