This 4days 3 nights in bwind impenetrable national park is the best tour for you. You will fly from Entebbe direct to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and track the endangered mountain gorillas. There are scheduled flights from Entebbe to Kihihi in northern Bwindi and Kisoro in the South of Bwindi. We will make a proper arrangement for both the flights and the ground handling services. Please note that availability of gorilla permits determines which area to track the endangered gorillas from.
Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
This tour will begin from Entebbe with a flight from Entebbe International Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Aerolink. Bwind impenetrable national park is known as a home to the endangered mountain gorillas and it’s known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Upon your arrival at Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip, you will be welcomed and greeted by our company safari guide who make a small transfer to the lodge. In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a nature walk and meet the local communities that live a few meters from to the park. Or you have a chance to relax, admire the views over the forest and prepare for your gorilla tracking in the following. Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake-up for an early breakfast at the lodge after, follow the guide to the park headquarters to receive short briefings from the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. After the briefing, you will follow the park ranger who will lead you deep into the impenetrable forest to start the search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas who only live to this park and Mgahinga forest in Uganda.
The search for the gorillas is unpredictable meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from or from where they were last seen the previous day. The search may involve passing through muddy and thick forest and upon reaching them, you will only be allowed to stay with them for only one hour and you are advised to always keep maximum silence while with these Gorillas since they are wild animals they can react on you. You are allowed to take photographs as well as studding their behaviors, you are not allowed to use flash cameras when taking photos. Gorilla trekking is regarded as such a tiresome experience since it can take you almost 2-8 hours to find them. However, once these apes are meet, you will easily forget all the hustles you have gone through and instead save the good memories you will experience with them. Gorilla trekking is regarded as one of the world’s truly memorable experiences, a look into one of these magnificent God creatures’ eyes brings home the bond that exists between them and us, indeed our presence contributes their continued survival, let’s keep the spirit of meeting them. The one hour is ever small and gets finished so quickly, and we slowly make our way back to camp to end the day’s adventures. Day 3: Second Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
On the 3rd day of this tour, you will get another chance for gorilla trekking in the jungles of bwindi impenetrable national park, but this time you will trek a different gorilla family. You will have a chance to get more photos and videos of these rare apes and get grate lifetime experience. The evening will be reserved at leisure and recall on the adventures of the last few days. Day 4: Fly to Entebbe
On this last day after breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Kihihi /Kisoro airstrip for a return flight back to Entebbe and meet your transfer flight back home.
