    This tour will take you to kibale forest national park for chimp tracking, Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife viewing and launch cruise on the kazinga channel, it will continue taking you to Bwindi national park a home to the few remaining endangered mountain gorillas and later you will connect to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and canoe ride on the lake.  The safari will begin and in Kampala Uganda’s capital and its largest city.

    Detailed itinerary

    Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale forest national park

    You will be met by our company safari guide/ driver at your hotel/lodge and later he will brief you about the safari and later he will drive you to the south western part of the park finally tom Kibale forest national park a home to over 13 species of primates coupled with the chimpanzee the closest relative of man. The drive will take you through Fort Portal via Mityana Mubende with fantastic views of tea/banana plantations along the road sides and many people’s homestead. The lush rolling hills of this region provide good “photo opportunities. Have lunch in fort-portal and later proceed to the park for relaxation. Later in the evening if time allows go for a community walk and meet the local people in (Fort Portal) the people in this town are locally famous for weaving and basketry making, and we can spend some time briefly to examine some of this local art. Come back to the lodge for Dinner and an overnight at Kyaninga Lode, primate lodge kibale, Ndali Lodge kibale forest Camp, / chimpanzee Forest Guest House

    Day 2: Chimp tracking and Bigodi nature walk

    This morning after an early breakfast, our safari guide will take you to the ranger station before 8:00am to receive a short briefing about the all process of chimp tracking.  After, you will follow the ranger guide deep into the forest to begin the search of chimp. These delightful apes more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are superb to watch as they play on tree branches or fruitful trees.  The time taken during the search of chimps is unpredictable sine meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from so, a sturdy pair of walking shoes/boots is needed as well as packed water. Only one hour is allowed with them once they are met, take as many photos and videos with them as well as learning their behaviors. You will meet many other primate species during the search of chimps like the black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, civet monkeys, red colobus monkeys among many others.  After this memorable experience with the chimps , Retire back to the lodge for lunch, and later  go for a guided walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary  for more chance to see species of primates and birds like the shining blue kingfisher, blue Throated Roller, see various species of trees butterflies among many others.     Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    breakfast at the lodge our safari guide will transfer you to quee Elizabeth national park a home to a wide variety of animal species, queen Elizabeth national park is the only place in uganda you can spot the tree climbing lions in the ishasha sector of the park. The transfer takes about 3-4 hours’ drive will give you an opportunity to view the Rwenzori Mountain sometimes referred to as the mountains of the moon. Arrive in time at the park for lunch, If the evening is free, you will be taken for an optional traditional salt industries and mining methods or tour around the Crater Lake region which is a fantastic site.     Day 4: Morning game drive and Launch cruise on kazinga channel

    Followed by a morning breakfast will be a transfer to Kasenyi side of the park to catch up with morning risen rushing to their hide-outs. Games expect to see this morning include predators like leopard, hyena, lion, Elephants, others include buffaloes, warthogs, bush pigs, Uganda kobs, water buck, giant forest hogs, and many species of  birds and plants. After this interesting activity, retire to the lodge for relaxation at the pool side as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon after lunch, enjoy a 2 hour’s launch cruise on the Kazinga channel which offers another chance to spot various species of animals including schools of hippos and crocodiles swimming just a few meters from the boat, whereas elephants and buffaloes are expected to be seen along the shoreline plus many species of birds such as the king fisher, herons, blue oraco and the shoebill for the lucky visitors.     Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi national park  

    Following an early morning breakfast will be a transfer to bwind in national park a home to a few remaining mountain gorillas in the world. From Queen national park we will pass through the famed part of Queen Elizabeth national park Ishasha sector known for its tree climbing lions, we will enjoy watching them sited on fig trees. A game drive will also enable us see more species of animals like antelopes, elephants, buffaloes and many species of birds. Have lunch en-route, before arriving at the park in the evening. Check into your pre-booked accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight at Buhoma Lodge/ Chameleon Hill Lodge/ Mahogany Lodge/ Silverback Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp, Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp/Buhoma Community Campground

    Day 6: Mountain Gorilla tracking and Nature walk in Bwindi national park

    After an early breakfast at the lodge, our safari guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will meet the park wardens or senior ranger guides who will take you through a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get you allocated to the gorilla family to visit. After, the ranger guide will lead you to the impenetrable forest to begin the search of these incredible species of gorillas. Carry bottled water, and sometimes packed lunch since the trek is unpredictable meeting them depends on where they last spent the previous night from the search may go to a half or full day in the jungle, so don’t forget to put on strong shoes/boats . Passing through the steep, thick and sometimes muddy forest is a bit tiresome, however once these apes are meet you will forget all the troubles you have gone through and utilize the one hour you are allowed to stay with the gorillas, learn their behaviors as well as taking as many photos and videos with them . After this wonderful activity, retreat back to the lodge for relaxation and late lunch, if the evening is free go for a community walk and visit the Batwa community.  Dinner and an overnight at   Buhoma Lodge/ Chameleon Hill Lodge/ Mahogany Lodge/ Silverback Lodge / Gorilla Mist Camp, Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp/Buhoma Community Campground

    Day 7: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

    After breakfast, our safari guide/driver will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake in Africa, free from Bilharzia. Arrive in time at the lodge for relaxation and later have lunch, in the late afternoon visit the batwa community and interact with them.  Dinner and an overnight Acadia cottages/ Bunyonyi overland camp

    Day 8: Canoe ride on the lake and Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

    Wake up early and enjoy a boat ride on the lake Bunyonyi and explore the nearby islands on the lake for an opportunity to have a glance on a scenic view of the well terraced hills around the lake as well as several species of birds that reside and feed on the lake. After with packed lunch, you will be driven to Lake Mburo national park, arrive in the evening.     Day 9: Game drive and departure

    Wake up early for a cup of tea or coffee and later embark on a game drive to the park to catch up with early risen that rush out from their hide-outs, games to come across include spotted hyena, lion elephant, zebra, impala, buffaloes, giraffe, warthogs, giant forest hogs, among many others after come back to the lodge for full breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the lake for a chance to view various species of animals that live and feed on the lake including schools of hippos and crocodile, elephants and buffaloes as well as many species of birds will all be seen along the shoreline. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay at Rwonyo rest camp, Arcadia cottages / Mantana lodge/ Mihingo safari lodge

    Day 10: depart to Kampala-city tour

    Wake up early for breakfast and then after you will be driven back to Kampala with stop over at the equator for informative talks and photography, proceed to kampala where you will have your lunch from, and later enjoy a short city tour, visit places like national museum, kasubi Tombs, Bahai temple, Namugongo shrine among many others if time allows dinner and an overnight at Cassia lodge, Boma lodge, Hotel Africana, Serena hotel

    Day 11: departure

    This morning after breakfast at the lodge, you can do your last shopping around the city and later depending on your departure flight; our safari guide/ drive will drive you to the Entebbe international airport and meet your departure flight back home.
