    This safari will begin and end in Kampala, it will take you to Murchison falls national park Uganda’s largest and bio-diversified park with a wide variety of animal species, here you will do game drive and also enjoy a launch cruise on the Nile River. From here you will proceed to Kibale forest national park in the south western part of Uganda and enjoy chimp tracking the man’s closest relative.

    Detailed itinerary

    Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls national park

    Our safari guide will pick you at the airport or at any agreed upon point and drive you to the eastern part of Uganda, the drive from the Kampala to the park takes about 5-6 hours passing through Luweero and Nakasongola. However before arriving at Murchison falls national park, you can first blanch off to Ziwa rhino sanctuary and track the white rhino. Ziwa rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can track the rhinos in their natural habitat. (Rhino tracking is at $45/ per person). From here  have lunch at Amuka safari Lodge and then after lunch you will proceed to the park embark on a ferry crossing up to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba game lodge, Murchison River Lodge, Bwana Tembo safari Lodge, Budongo Eco lodge, Red Chill rest camp Fort Murchison lodge

    Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise at the Nile River

    A morning breakfast will be followed with a transfer to the northern part of the park to catch up with early risen that rush from their hide outs, predators to see include lion, leopard, hyena, heart beast, other games expects to see include giraffe, elephant, Uganda Kob, Oribi, bush, warthogs among many others alongside many variety of Savannah and woodland birds.  After, retreat to the lodge for full breakfast and lunch.

    After lunch, you will be taken to the Nile river and enjoy a 2-3 hours boat Cruise which exposes you to more different species of wildlife that live and feed on water, games expects to see include Hippos and Crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants can be seen along the shoreline as well as different species of birds such as kingfishers and bee-eaters dashing, lucky visitors can spot the rare shoebills. retire to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba game lodge, Murchison River Lodge, Bwana Tembo safari Lodge, Budongo Eco lodge, Red Chill rest camp Fort Murchison lodge

    Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest national park

    Wake up early for breakfast and hit the road by 7:0am to kibale forest national park which is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The transfer takes about 6-7 hours with a scenic drive all through.  Enjoy lunch en-route in Fort Portal before arriving at the park. Kibale forest national park inhabit over 13 species of primates most tracked is the chimpanzee the closest relative of man sharing almost 98% of human genes. Other primates include the black and white colobus monkey, baboons, civet monkey, grey checked manga bay, etc. The park also house mammal species including elephant, buffaloes, giant forest hog, and many species of bird and tree.     Day 5: Chimp tracking and Bigodi nature walk

    This morning after an early breakfast, our safari guide will take you to the ranger station before 8:00am to receive a short briefing about the all process of chimp tracking.  After, you will follow the ranger guide deep into the forest to begin the search of chimp. These delightful apes more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are superb to watch as they play on tree branches or fruitful trees.  The time taken during the search of chimps is unpredictable sine meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from so, a sturdy pair of walking shoes/boots is needed as well as packed water. Only one hour is allowed with them once they are met, take as many photos and videos with them as well as learning their behaviors. You will meet many other primate species during the search of chimps like the black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, civet monkeys, red colobus monkeys among many others.  After this memorable experience with the chimps , Retire back to the lodge for lunch, and later  go for a guided walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary  for more chance to see species of primates and birds like the shining blue kingfisher, blue Throated Roller, see various species of trees butterflies among many others.     Day 5: Departure

    Wake up early for breakfast and then after, embark on the transfer to Kampala however, make a stopover and visit the Nakayima tree in Mubende. The guide will give you more information about the place. Later embark to the transfer to Kampala with lunch break and finally to the airport to meet your departure flight back home depending on your departure flight time.
