7 Days Adventure Uganda Rwanda Safari
This 7 Day Adventure starts and ends in either country. This trip will offer you an opportunity to track the endangered mountain gorillas in both countries for great opportunity to have a wonderful memorable experience. Not only gorilla trekking, but still you will have also a chance to view different species of wildlife, the game drive will be done in Queen Elizabeth national park.
Detailed itinerary for 7 Days Adventure Uganda Rwanda Safari
Day 1: Arrive at Kigali International and transfer to a gorilla park
On your arrival at Kigali international airport, our safari driver/guide will be readily available to meet and greet you, and later he will brief you about the all safari. Then from here he will drive you to Kigali city and have a short visit to the Kigali genocide memorial site a burial ground for over 20,000 people who were buried under the same cemetery, if time allows also visit the local markets, hand craft shops. Later, drive to Ruhengeri Musanze district, the drive is about 2-3 hours passing through the beautiful terraced hill sides that portray much of Rwanda’s landscape. Arrive in the evening at your preferred accommodation for relaxation dinner and an overnight at.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park
Wake up early for a hearty breakfast and then after, our safari guide will pick and drive you to the park headquarters to meet the park wardens who will get you briefed about the all process of gorilla tracking and also get you allocated to the gorilla family to track.
After, you will head to the slopes of Virunga volcanoes following the ranger guide. You will visit one of the ten habituated gorilla Rwanda family assigned to you, gorilla tracking is regarded as one of the most interesting adventurous safari activity on earth trekking through the lush forested forest slopes of the Virungas is completely a wonderful experience.
Trekking time is unpredictable since meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from and on the food location , so some levels of physical fitness is needed as well as trekking gears like strong shoes/boots. You can trek from 1-6 hours through dense forest vegetation, slippery slopes and changing weather. Day 3: Leave to Lake Kivu – boat cruise to kibuye and then transfer to Nyungwe forest
Wake up early for breakfast and then after, you will be driven to Gisenyi for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a boat ride on Kibuye. From here you will continue to Nyungwe forest national park in the south western part of Uganda. Nyungwe forest national park is a home to over 13 species of primates the most common is the chimpanzee, arrive in the late evening for relaxation dinner and an overnight at

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest national park
After a morning breakfast and briefing from the park wardens about the activity, you will depart for guided nature walk where you will be in position to meet very many species of primates that reside in the park including chimpanzees the closest relatives to human sharing almost 98% of human genes.
The time taken to meet the chimps is unpredictable since they are wild animals they move freely in their natural habitat however the search can last up to 7 hours, so reasonable degree of fitness is needed. Day 5: Transfer to Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning breakfast and then after, you will transferred to Rwanda -Uganda border to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to a wide biodiversity of animal species. The guide will help you to finalize with the border crossing requirement and after with fantastic views of the countries scenery and landscape you will continue to the park passing through the Ishasah sector an extension of Queen Elizabeth national park housing the rare tree climbing lions and here you may stand a chance to see them sited on fig trees, you will also spot the elephant, antelopes, buffaloes and many animals as you continue to the park. Day 6: Game drive Kasenyi sector and afternoon Boat ride
Followed by a morning breakfast will be a transfer to Kasenyi side of the park to catch up with morning risen rushing to their hide-outs. Games expect to see this morning include predators like leopard, hyena, lion, Elephants, others include buffaloes, warthogs, bush pigs, Uganda kobs, water buck, giant forest hogs, and many species of birds and plants.
After this interesting activity, retire to the lodge for relaxation at the pool side as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon after lunch, enjoy a 2 hour’s launch cruise on the Kazinga channel which offers another chance to spot various species of animals including schools of hippos and crocodiles swimming just a few meters from the boat, whereas elephants and buffaloes are expected to be seen along the shoreline plus many species of birds such as the king fisher, herons, blue oraco and the shoebill for the lucky visitors. Day 7: Departure
Wake up leisurely for an early breakfast, and then after you drive back to Kampala Uganda’s capital and its largest city, however you will have lunch en-route and a stopover at the equator crossing at Kayabwe for snacks and photography. Later connect to your departure flight back home at Entebbe international airport.
