This 7 Days Supper Gorilla Safari will give you a great opportunity to track the gorillas in three national parks including Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga gorilla forest national park in Uganda and volcanoes national park in Rwanda. The tour will begin in Uganda and end in Rwanda.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will be picked at any agreed upon point by our safari guide/driver who will take you to the south western part of Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the few remaining endangered mountain gorillas. The journey from Kampala to the park takes about 7-9 hours’ drive however, with stopovers at any interesting point like at the equator crossing for informative talks, snacks and photography, handcraft shops and also at Mbarara for an hour lunch break.
After, we will continue with the drive through the gorgeous scenery sometimes referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ this is a great sight as you continue with the drive to the park. Depending on where you booked for your accommodation you will arrive at the park in the evening either at Ruhija sector or Buhoma sector of the park. Day 2: Mountain Gorilla tracking and Nature walk in Bwindi national park
7 days supper gorilla safari, After an early breakfast at the lodge, our safari guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will meet the park wardens or senior ranger guides who will take you through a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and also get you allocated to the gorilla family to visit. After, the ranger guide will lead you to the impenetrable forest to begin the search of these incredible species of gorillas.
Carry bottled water, and sometimes packed lunch since the trek is unpredictable meeting them depends on where they last spent the previous night from the search may go to a half or full day in the jungle, so don’t forget to put on strong shoes/boats .
Passing through the steep, thick and sometimes muddy forest is a bit tiresome, however once these apes are meet you will forget all the troubles you have gone through and utilize the one hour you are allowed to stay with the gorillas, learn their behaviors as well as taking as many photos and videos with them . After this wonderful activity, retreat back to the lodge for relaxation and late lunch, if the evening is free go for a community walk and visit the batwa community. Dinner and an overnight at

Day3: Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park
This morning after breakfast, you will leave Bwindi national park to Mgahinga gorilla forest national park, the drive takes about 4 hours, arrive in time at the park for lunch, after lunch if the evening is free, enjoy a community walk and visit the local people who live near the park. Day 4: Mountain gorilla tracking in Mgahinga national park
On this day, wake up early for preparation and have breakfast and then after, you will be driven in time at the park headquarters for another chance to track the gorilla in Mgahinga national park. The park is a home to one gorilla family; you will follow the ranger guide in the forest to begin the search of gorillas.
You will pass through the steep terrine and forested hills and sometimes muddy forest until when you come across the gorillas. Once the gorillas are met you will forget all the troubles you have gone through and utilize the one hour you have with the gorillas while taking photography and observing them.
Not only gorillas, the park is also a home to very many primate species such as golden moneys, the black and white colobus monkeys, baboons and many species of birds. Retire to the lodge for late lunch. Dinner and an overnight at

Day 5: Transfer to Ruhengeri- Rwanda
This morning after an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Uganda-Rwanda border passing through stunning scenery sometimes referred to as ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’. After finalizing with the border crossing requirements, you will cross to Rwanda up to Ruhengeri in the northern part of Rwanda passing through rolling hills and beautiful land scape (the crock will go forward for one hour); from here you will continue to your pre-booked accommodation within or outside the park, arrive in time for lunch. If the evening is free visit the twin lakes of Burela and Rubondo.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes national park
You will get up very early for breakfast, after our safari guide will drive you to the park headquarters in Kinigi to receive short briefings from the park wardens about the all gorilla tracking process and also get you allocated to the gorilla family and the ranger guide. After, head to the thick rainforest to begin the search of our closest relatives the gorillas sharing almost 97% of human make-up.

The walks might be difficult so some physical fitness is needed as well as study pair of walking shoes/boots, the trek is unpredictable it can go up to full day, however once the gorillas are met, you are only allowed an hour with them while taking photography and videos with them (flash cameras are not allowed) after this wonderful activity, retire back to the lodge for relaxation.
However should the evening be free enjoy a community walk and visit the local people who live near the park. Dinner and an overnight at Luxury:

Day 7: Departure
This day after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali and if time allows, our safari guide will take you for a Kigali city tour and visit some of the interesting places within the city and visit the Kigali genocide memorial site, national museum, hand craft shops and after lunch you will continue to Kigali airport and meet your departure flight back.
