Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park is positioned in the South Western part of Uganda. The park can be reached by either road from Kampala or by a chartered plane from either Entebbe airport to Kajjansi airstrip. By road it’s a long day journey driving from Kampala –Masaka – Mbarara to Kabale to Kanungu. Or Kisoro road about 8/9 hour drive (534km).
Bwindi is known as a home to the endangered mountain Gorillas attracting all kinds of travellers from all over the world. Bwindi is known for housing the highest number of mountain gorillas. Which are loving of moving from one place to another and are distributed into 12 Gorilla families that are tracked for a period of 3-8 hours depending on where they last spent their night from. Each gorilla trekking session is guided by an experienced ranger guide. As well as an armed ranger guide to make sure the all process is enjoyable and safe.
The guide also helps to give relative information to any forest dwellers met on the way. And they will always lead the path leading to the gorilla family. When you meet them (the gorillas) you are only strictly allowed an hour in their presence. Take various photos to keep for memories. Mgahinga gorilla forest National Park
This park is located in the south-western part of Uganda after the busy town of Kisoro. Which is sometimes referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Uganda’’.
The Park is known as Uganda’s tinniest among all the 10 national parks, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park seats an area of 34sqkm. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is an extension of the Virunga Massif (Virunga Conservation Area. The park geographically shares on the borders of three countries Uganda, Rwanda and DRC.
The park was mainly reserved to protect the endangered mountain gorillas that was almost reaching an edge of extinction. It’s popularly known for housing the endangered mountain gorillas. There are only 2 parks in Uganda where these apes are hosted the other one is Bwindi National Park. Mgahinga national park is known to offer amazing Gorilla Trekking Tours to all kinds of travellers from all over the globe. Gorilla trekking in this park is trekked in the stunning Nyakagezi Gorilla Group in the green forest vegetation habitat. Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, our company guide/driver will meet and greet you. After he will brief you about the all safari, if you arrive late at night, he will drive you to your pre-booked accommodation in Entebbe or in Kampala. Or you kick off the road to Queen Elizabeth national park, a journey to the park takes you about 4-5 hours. En-route enjoy views of the green terrain vegetation, birds, equator crossing for informative talks and later lunch break at Agip motel (Mbarara). After lunch, proceed to the park reaching in the late afternoon for relaxation at the lodge. If you still have energy, you will go for an evening Game Drive along the various tracks watching various wildlife animals wandering their natural habitat. Day 2: Full day Queen Elizabeth national park, Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Early morning breakfast and then after proceed with your guide/driver for a game drive in the park Wake up with your luggage and proceed to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks watching wildlife animals. Day 3: Transfer to bwindi national park
On this Affordable Gorilla Safaris, After a breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on the transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park passing via the famous ishasha sector and extension of Queen Elizabeth national park. However, this sector is famously known for housing the rear tree climbing lions. Which can be spotted sited on fig trees or tree blanches, they are so breathtaking to watch. You will also have a chance to see other species of animals. For instance elephants, bush pigs, leopard, and many bird species, later you will proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

In the evening if time allows, you will go for batwa pigmy experience and meet the batwa people who have lived in the area for over 500 years. Later Dinner and Overnight. Day 5: Departure Kampala/ Entebbe
